Headway House

Headway House provides support for the journey of people with
brain injury by providing a weekly Drop-In Day and a Family
Liaison Service that offers information, advocacy, support and education.

To help people with brain injury to improve their self-esteem, confidence and problem-solving skills within a supportive environment.

To have an impact on the lives of people with brain injury by giving them a place where they can meet up with other people who share similar experiences and ongoing problems. Often people with brain injury will spend many days alone at home.

To enable carers (usually family members) to have time to themselves one day a week.

To be accessible to people with brain injury and their families when they are in need or at risk.

To provide a venue for running monthly support groups, games and chat evenings, as well as meetings, courses, seminars and information evenings.
